The features of a battleship compel their attention as it confronts them with features unprecedented in their experience. Most student visitors have never been aboard a ship of any type, much less a vintage WWII warship. They walk through President Roosevelt's private cabin, and climb to the Admiral's Bridge for an unmatched seven-story vista of their historic maritime village.   Theatre West's education programs seek to serve the community by presenting quality theater for younger audiences and using theater skills to present positive and stimulating educational programs that meet California Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) standards. The in-school theatre education program is designed to introduce pre-school and elementary school age children to different aspects of drama including characterization, emotional expression, understanding story, voice projection and enunciation, body language, and awareness.   Tina's Pumpkin Patch is fun for the whole family! Lots of activities including pony rides and a petting zoo with goats, sheep, baby pigs, rabbits and an alpaca. Take the train around the patch and have fun on the bouncers, giant slide and straw maze. Of course, plenty of pumpkins to choose from and lots of great photo opportunities! Kids want to be responsible; they want to have a purpose and independence, but somehow us parents made it ok for them to forget those very same values we were raised with. If there were a way to create a craving in children to do their chores, wouldn't you want to experience that for yourself? One cycle at a time getting bigger, stronger, and gaining momentum to make smart choices, and take care of themselves because they've learned just how great that feels, for themselves. We're not saying our apps are magic, but from day one the goal has been the same. Help families work together. Help kids find energy in being responsible and taking control in productive ways.
